Tall Extruded Teapot with "Welcome" Ceramic Decals in Woodland Brown

Tall extruded teapot with various "welcome" symbols from different cultures: apple, pineapples, and (fittingly) a brewed pot of tea. Symbols are ceramic decals that have been fired into the surface in a separate third firing, making them a permanent surface decoration. Vessel was extruded from a wall-mounted extruder using speckled stoneware clay. Teapot is glazed overall with food-safe glazes in deep sienna speckle, splattered black, and clear. It is food safe, but like all items with fired-on decals, handwashing is recommended.
