Homemade Large Fused Glass Bowl in Autumn Colors

Large fused glass bowl in the colors of autumn: orange, bronze, garnet red, yellow, and late summer green. Designs are created with a frit stretch technique, where small pieces of glass are placed on top of stacks of clear glass and are heated to a high enough temperature for the pieces to melt and flow toward the center. Rim of bowl is freeformed as the melted glass spreads over the kiln shelf, creating a one-of-a-kind shape. Food and dishwasher safe. Microwaving is not recommended due to the potential for thermal shock.
