Set of your choice of black or purple Japanese tea bowls, called chawans, and whisk holders, called chasens, traditionally used for Japanese matcha tea ceremonies. Each piece is colorblocked with either black on outside and purple on inside, or purple on outside and black on inside. All pieces have 14K gold veining and accents on the outside. Shaping method for each piece is handbuilding from clay slab. Black chawan was made from white speckled clay, and purple chawan was made from white stoneware clay.
NOTE: due to the gold veining on the outside, these chawans and chasens are not microwave or dishwasher safe. Handwashing only.
