Handbuilt Ceramic Bookends with Black Cats

Whimsical bookends with black cats lying and standing on a stack of books. Books were formed from a large slab of clay. Cats were sculpted from dark stoneware clay. A slight lean inwards creates a more stable foundation for keeping books standing upright. Fired in oxidation kiln with food-safe glazes. Perfect for home offices or studies.
