I Need You....We Need You...Yes, YOU!

I Need You....We Need You...Yes, YOU!

I am proud to report that some of my pieces are included for consideration in The People's Artist, sponsored by Johnny Depp and Mark Mothersbaugh (remember him from Devo?)! How exciting!! Here's the link to my personal page:

The top winner will be awarded with a grand prize of $25K, a spread in ArtForum Magazine, and an exhibit at the Art of Elysium! Even better, the winner is chosen by "The People." You have a voice; YOU decide who wins.  Speak it loudly, my friends!!

The People's Artist is an annual fundraiser to help a very important cause: "to heal the world through art." It is sponsored by The Art of Elysium, a Los Angeles-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in 1997, by Jennifer Howell. This wonderful organization connects professional artists--actors, musicians, and visual artists--with children and adults battling serious medical conditions, or facing social and/or emotional challenges. It operates primarily in Los Angeles through workshops and community programs designed for healing and emotional support. The Art of Elysium brings creative tools to over 30,000 children and adults annually, supporting over 2,150 artists in their mission to promote "relief, happiness, liberation, and self-empowerment." What a great cause!

Best thing ever: it doesn't have to cost a thing, other than a brief moment of your time. All that is required is to follow the link above or below and press the "FREE VOTE" button at the bottom of the page. That's it! Easy peasy!!

If you want to give a tax-exempt donation in addition to your 1 FREE daily vote, there are also buttons for that, as well. Every dollar of your tax-free donation is worth 1 vote for me, but better than that, it provides much-needed relief for so many.

I hope you will join me in supporting The People's Artist and The Art of Elysium! We need YOU!!
